Takeshi originates from the Final Ninja games. In those games he used several different gadgets and weapons like the ninja stars, ninja rope, and stealth suit, which is where he gets his special moves from. Like in those games he can wall jump from wall to wall.
- Fast on both the ground and in the air
- High jump height
- Ability to wall cling and wall jump
- Speedy attacks
- Excellent combo game
- Good throws, with up and down throw being good for starting combos and back throw useful for killing on the edge
- Has a projectile, Ninja Star
- Extended grab, can be used for tethering to ledges
- Ninja Combat is excellent for racking up damage
- Counter in the form of Stealth
- Lacks good kill moves
- Low damage on most attacks
- Poor recovery
- Grab has high ending lag if it misses
◾Normal A- Two quick punches and a ninja-chop attack. 3%, 3%, 5%
◾Up Tilt- Takeshi flips upside down, kicks upwards, and then lands on his feet again. 5%
◾Down Tilt- Swings his ninja staff along the ground. 8%
◾Forward Tilt- A quick side kick. 6%
◾Up - Takeshi flips upside down, his legs separated, and then slams both legs together before finishing the flip and landing on his feet. 18-23%
◾Forward - Takeshi slams his staff down on the ground in front of him. 19-24%
◾Down - Takeshi spins around on one leg while kicking out to each side with the other leg. 17-23%
◾Dash Attack - Takeshi leaps off the ground and kicks forwards. 9%
◾Up aerial – Takeshi kicks upwards. 7%
◾Down aerial - Takeshi falls very quickly at a slight angle with a foot extended to kick on his way down. 10%
◾Neutral aerial - Takeshi spins around with his staff extended. 5%
◾Forward aerial – Takeshi kicks forwards with both feet. 8%
◾Back aerial - Takeshi spins around twice, swinging a short ninja rope that has a sharp ninja star connected to the end of it. 6% when all hits connect
Grabs and Throws
◾Pummel: Takeshi ninja-chops the foe. 2% each hit
◾Forward Throw- Takeshi kicks the opponent away. 8%
◾Back Throw- Takeshi tosses the opponent back and then leaps up and kicks backwards to hit them away. 9%
◾Down Throw- Takeshi links a ninja rope to the opponent and then whips the rope upwards, the foe in tow, and then slams them down on the ground. 8%
◾Up Throw- Takeshi throws the opponent upwards and then leaps up and kicks them away. 9%
◾Neutral Special- Ninja Star (8%)
◾Side Special- Ninja Combat (9% first hit, 2% second and third hit, 3% fourth hit, 5% final hit)
◾Up Special- Ninja Rope (6% rope, 5% Takeshi attack)

Down Taunt: Takeshi's suit calibrates a Clone Scientist disguise around him for a second and then fizzles away; reminiscent of Takeshi's Clone Scientist disguise in Final Ninja Zero
Battle Stance- Takeshi gets into a fighting stance in which he crouches slightly and holds his hands up like he is going to perform a karate chop attack*
Sushi Meal- Takeshi takes a bite out of a sushi lunch with chopsticks and then throws it away; reminiscent of the Sushi items found in the Final Ninja series*
Key Card- Takeshi flashes a key card; reminiscent of the key card item found at the end of every level in Final Ninja*
