Honestly, I hope that no one ever reads this except for me...
After not being believed for my iPhone turning off itself because it was too cold, I cried liek a wussie and went to my room and turned on my laptop. Ah, Nitrome Fanfiction Wiki. I'll just edit a little before I have my dinner and finish my homework. Added a bit to Storm Bennet's article... awesume, he's one of my own OCs that I love and no one else gives a crap about. Afterwards, I go to Darker's article since I hadn't edited it in a while. I decided to look back on Season One NMDFanfictionMon to find his debut episodes (Evil and Good) and... OH GOD. OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD!!!!
Season One is just the worst... I regret making it and I regret making other people read it. It had some high points, but they all easily get overshadowed by the fact that the story doesn't go anywhere and anywhere it tries to go, it fails miserably. If I didn't learn from critics and other people, Season Two would be just as horrendous. So I'm just gonna go back and know what I did wrong...
The Dialogue/The Characters
Most of the time, the dialog is badly written and badly placed. I ran into the same problem early season two, but I easily ironed out the problem after reading a bunch of other comics.
My characters are much better done in the second season than first. The characters show more personality there than in the first season. In the first season, it's just shoehorned in without any thought (along with the characters, who mostly showed up with little to no rhyme or reason).
The Plot? WHAT FREAKIN' PLOT?!?! THERE. WAS. NO. PLOT. It was initially "Going across the Hoenn Region collecting badges", but then I screwed up because I wanted to make everyone happy but myself.
It's supposed to be Hoenn, but SHININGTIME isn't in Hoenn! There's only ONE place I got right, and that was Petalburg City! Now, I know I mixed up a setting in Kalos in Season 2, but that was early while I was still in that stinky season one skin that needed to be molted.
So I'm actually gonna do a poll when I finish season two asking if Season One or Season Two is better. I pray to God that every voter votes season two. Nothing's perfect, but I could have made Season One a little better by actually thinking of a plot before putting the pen to the paper.
